Founded in 1974, Metro Fair Housing Services, Inc. (Metro)
is a private, not-for-profit, fair housing organization
whose primary purpose is to prevent housing discrimination
in the metropolitan Atlanta area and throughout the state
METRO FAIR HOUSING SERVICES’ OFFICE IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC EFFECTIVE MARCH 16, 2020,
UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO THE CITY OF ATLANTA’S CLOSING OF ITS FACILITIES AS A PRECAUTION
IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.

What is Fair Housing?
The federal Fair Housing Act was approved in 1968.
This Act prohibits housing discrimination based on membership
